Lyssa's cave, new area?
Hey I was exploring with a buddy above granite citadel, and we came to a huge mob of monsters in the Mineral Springs area, we killed them all and entered a Cave, inside was a Ice beast with elite skill of Mist Form. We killed it and it the path lead to ANOTHER SEER. The ice beast dropped spectral esscence just like the infusion runs. This was NOT the same seer as the one for infusion runs. Then we went back to the statue of lyssa and I decided to /kneel. Out of no where popped this thing that had a face in it. You can give 50 or 100 gold to lyssa and suddenly our DP started to dissapear. Im thinking this is going to be the place of the New UNDERWORLD/ Fissure kind of thing. I have included pictures.
you can talk to me in game at "Lady Bluesky" of guild DKL if you would like.

Theres more infusion Seers later on in the game, even one in the very last misson. I think the idea is that you were supost to infuse your armor along the way, instead of doing all 5 runs on one misson like we do now But it's just a guess.
Cave is very neat though!

when your region has favour - statues all over the place become active and you can make offerings in this way. you give money and you get morale boost.

I know a lot of areas, since I singlehandedly have discovered all of Tyria, except UW, and the beach and northernmost part of FoW.
And that is a bonus every statue give.
And they have a 3 health regen bonus too.

Well now with the patches you can just get your whole armor set infused. But if I recall, before they implemented that feature, I know that the different Seers in the Ring of Fire set of missions gave the bonuses rather than infusing. I know in the last one, he wants you to kill the 3 titan guardians or something like that. You almost have to get all your armor infused in the iron mines mission just because you start to run into the mursaat the next mission. Infusing it one piece per mission is almost suicide because of the spectral agony spell.
When i talk to Lyssa, she doesn't let me get any sorta bonus. But then again, you may have to visit that cave in order to receive it? But nonetheless, awesome discovery and keep em coming

I'm more interested in what THOSE things are:
In the same cave that is. Too me they look like stargates, but hey that's just me. To be honest, it is the model of the Storm Beacons, but with a strange glowing and pulsing thing inbetween.

Very similar to the various shrines to the other gods scattered elsewhere. Rather mysterious to find some large vacant temple in the middle of nowhere.

Yeah, somewhere in the Maguuma I found a half destroyed temple area with a statue in it. It was rather neat. Too bad I didn't take screen shots

Yep Porkchop. Ive been to that temple. There is a collector outside that gave me the last piece of armor I needed. VERY COOL TEMPLE THING. Has vines all over the place and in the center a Huge Statue of I dont remember who. Its the deepest part of Maguuma Jungle you can get into and guarded by a bunch of Jungle Trolls. Well worth the trip however.
Nice Screens btw im going to find that place....now!

Lyssa's Ice cave
Just to update this thread
I found the cave last night. (8/11)
Great place I fixed all my DP and toured the cave.
It was full of ice imps and I hate ice imps.
Just as I exited the other end of the cave I ran into 2 or 3 azure shadows
and a eaidlion (sp?). I killed it and took the dropped essence on down to the beach. The mist monster apparently didn't spawn for me that time.
I willbe going back with my alt when I can figure out how to keep her alive.
I found a Seer there and the Seer told me I did not have any armor that he could infuse for me.
I stood on the beach and l looked a little east of due south and there was the road and bridge that you take from the Iron Mines Seer to get to Markis.
If you exit the Iron Mines Ser's cave and stand on the bridge loking N or NW across the lake you'll be able to see the other Seer's beach.
BTW I found 9 bosses in Mineral Springs. I took one SoC with nwe and used it on the first boss to capture Well of Power. I should have taken several more SoCs.
I also found a collector offering +12 energy and 20-20 of the same magic as the magic you need to use it 9 of whatever magic
for instance a chackra takes 9 domination magic and gives +12 energy 20 percnet speed increase of domination magic 20 % chance of faster casting of dominationm magic. My grim cesta had the same numbers but for curses magic.
This collector is just north of the south east rez point/entrance to Mineral Springs. Follow the mountains clockwise to his house.
There is a marterials trader standing there as well.

How many of these large shrines are there exactly? I know of the Falls' shrine(Balthazar's or Grenth's) and the Dreadnaught's shrine(Grenth's). The smaller ones aren't as impressive as those two.

Only 3 azures? There are usually hordes surrounding the Eidolon, which has Mist Form. Killing any imps first, then the azures is the best way to clear the path.

Yup thats how I did it. There's also that Area with the level 30 Dragon Lich in it surrounded by some other dragons. He dropped a rare bow for me when i went there, I was wondering if he always dropped something rare. Does anyone else know what i'm talking about? Yeah the thing about that ice cave is the fact that those things look like teleporters but don't bring you anywhere, very wierd. Any way, post here if you want directions to that level 30 Dragon Lich thats not in the FoW

You mean Rotscale? (which is kind of funny, as there is an 'aura'd' Rotscale in the Sanctum Cay missions as well, though he looks alot smaller)
I killed him once and he dropped a rare Spatha, but the last time I killed him I didn't get anything.. then again the henchman probably jacked my drops, grr.
